Owner’s Manuals

They are about as frequented as warning labels on electrical equipment. I was looking through the forum posts online and most are about simple problems people are having with their cell phones or ipods. I wonder how much effort it would take to look through their owner’s manual. The only problem is that they are terribly boring. There must be some way that they could make them more interesting. Or at the very least, they could try to make the information more concise. People would rather fiddle with and break a new “toy” than read directions on how to use it. It is so strange. When you cook something, you read directions. Shouldn’t you use the same principles when it comes to more complex and expensive things? I honestly think that if there were more pictures and less text, many more people would understand how to work their devices.
